The Institute for International Training and Development was co-founded on January 3, 2005 by Professor Chris O. Igodan, PhD and Mr. Solomon B. Aiyedero, MS. The institute was incorporated as a registered organization in the state of Ohio on March 1, 2005. IITD is a fully registered, tax exempt, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. The institute's main office is located in Columbus, Ohio with branches in Washington, DC and Abuja, Nigeria.
IITD has a team of many consultants and trainers from multi-disciplines who work to deliver the services we provide. The co-founders, Professor Chris Igodan and Mr. Solomon Aiyedero, also serve as primary consultants in their respective disciplines.

Professor Igodan is President and CEO of the Institute for International Training and Development as well as Professor and Leader, Organization Devt. at the Ohio State University Extension, Columbus, Ohio, USA.Between 1985- 1992, he worked at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He served (2000-2004) as Director and Associate Dean, College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the Ohio State University. Between 1996-2000, he was Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Fore Hare, Alice, South Africa.
He has held visiting professorship position at the Norwegian Centre for International Environment and Development Studies, AS, Norway as well as post-doctoral research associate at the International Livestock Research Institute, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A Salzburg alumni, Professor Igodan is a member of the Africa Regional Advisory Committee on Sustainability and Development. Received a BS & MS in Agronomy, (Northwest Missouri State University) and a PhD at the Ohio State University.

Mr. Aiyedero is currently a K-12 Special Education Teacher with Columbus Public Schools, Columbus, Ohio. He has been an educator in the public school systems in Nigeria, Greensboro, North Carolina (USA), and in Columbus, Ohio (USA) for over 30 years. He is the former Assistant Director of the Center for African Studies, The Ohio State University (OSU) where he was responsible for overall office management, community outreach, hiring of contract personnel and vendors, and public relations responsibilities.Prior to this, he served in various capacities at OSU including graduate administrative associate in charge of Personnel Officer duties for the Office of Minority Affairs. He is a member of the Steering Committee of Capacity Building Initiative for Immigrants and Refugee Organization in Central Ohio. He currently serves on the board of professional and community organizations. He has received outstanding leadership awards from several communities.
While in Greensboro North Carolina, he was Supervisor of Operations at Central Service Corporation, as well as Supervisor of Star Building Maintenance. Mr. Aiyedero has research interests in Communication and Development, especially from an Interpersonal and organizational perspectives, and administration and leadership. He received an M.S. in Agricultural Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, North Carolina; a B.S. in Agricultural Education from The Ohio State University; and NCE in Agriculture/Biology from Kwara State College of Education., Ilorin, Nigeria.

Onyemobi Desta Anyiwo is the Technical Director of the Institute for International Training and Development and the Director of IT at Retail Service Systems, based in Dublin Ohio. He has over 10 years of experience working and consulting with companies like Huntington National Bank, Express, Big Lots, Abercrombie & Fitch & Smuckers.
Mr. Anyiwo also has experience giving talks and trainings on a wide variety of topics including cryptocurrency, generative artificial intelligence & general career guidance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering & a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies, both from the University of Maryland, College Park.
